Everyday Granola
Serves: 6 cups
This granola has become a quick family favorite and I've made it pretty constantly all year long.  Once you make it, I promise you'll be hooked just as quickly as I was!
  • 5 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped (or other nuts)
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • ¾ tsp. Kosher salt
  • ½ cup maple syrup (or honey)
  • ½ cup vegetable oil (or other oil)
  1. Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray with cooking spray, set aside.
  2. Roughly chop the walnuts, either by hand or in a food processor
  3. Stir together the walnuts, oats, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl, set aside.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup and vegetable oil. Pour over the oat mixture and stir to combine. Pour onto your baking sheet and spread it out.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring after 10. Remove and cool before eating. Store leftovers in a Tupperware container. This freezes well too!
