Tangy Broccoli Sauce
Serves: 4
  • 2 heads broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs. Dijon mustard
  1. Wash broccoli, cut into tiny florets and place in a steamer basket.
  2. Fill the pot that goes with your steamer basket with an inch or two of water and set over medium-high heat. Once it boils, add the covered steamer basket on top and cook for about 5 minutes or until broccoli has reached your desired consistency
  3. While the broccoli is steaming, add butter, brown sugar and mustard to a small, microwavable bowl. Microwave until melted. Mine took about 45 seconds, stopping to stir at the 20 second mark.
  4. When broccoli is finished cooking, drizzle with the sauce and serve.
