Spinach Ravioli Bake
Serves: 4-6
  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen ravioli (any flavor, I used cheese)
  • ½ (10 oz) package frozen spinach, defrosted and drained
  • 3 cups pasta sauce (almost one 26 oz. container)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees. If you're freezing this meal and not making it right away, skip this step
  2. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray
  3. Spread about ½ cup of sauce on the bottom of the pan and layer ½ of the ravioli over it
  4. Spread half of the remaining sauce on top of the ravioli.
  5. Pinch off pieces of the spinach and arrange on top of the ravioli
  6. Sprinkle on ½ cup of cheese and the Italian seasoning
  7. Layer on the remaining ravioli, sauce and cheese and cover with aluminum foil
  8. If making right away, bake for 30 minutes covered and then 15 minutes uncovered. If freezing, I double up on the aluminum foil and then wrap in plastic wrap. When ready to use, I defrost the casserole overnight in the refrigerator and then bake the next evening, as directed above.
