These Cookies and Cream Pudding Pops are a quick and simple treat the whole family can enjoy on these warm summer days!
Summer is just the best season ever, am I right? The kids are out of school, the sun is shining and it seems like the weekends are just made for picnics and BBQ’s! With so many holidays and get togethers during this time, these cookies and cream pudding pops are the perfect dessert to serve. Plus with the weather reaching almost 90 degrees lately, they help keep everyone cool. The little kiddies and adults will both love them, trust me. I made them for our Memorial Day picnic and I’m sure they’ll be making an appearance at future summer parties as well!
I love how these little party pops take such little effort to make and need minimal ingredients at the store. Grocery shopping is the last thing I want to do be doing right now when it’s so nice outside! These pops are made just like if you were making regular pudding, but you add some cool whip and crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos) and then freeze it in popsicle molds. Super easy, yet so stinking’ adorable!
If you’re looking for something to make at your next summer get together, give these little pops a try. You’ll be thanking me later, believe me on that one!
- 1 (3.5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mixture
- 2 cups milk (I used 2%*)
- 1 cup cool whip, thawed
- 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), about 8
- Whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until combined and thickened, about 2 minutes. Fold in the whipped topping, followed by the crushed cookies.
- Pour the pudding mixture into popsicle molds and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours. If you have any leftover pudding mixture after filing your molds, you can refrigerate it to enjoy unfrozen.
